hearts to make radical changes in their lives by starting a whole new journey and step of faith in the Lord. Daniel and his family were not only supposed to record testimonies locally, but also travel to record what Jesus was doing everywhere! Also, the Lord wanted them to serve alongside other ministries as a whole family wherever they went. This meant that they would have to live like Abraham, in Hebrews 11 it says:

 
“By faith Abraham when called to go to a place…obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going…By faith he made his home in the promise land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents.” 

Immediately, Daniel and his family began selling what they had to begin God’s ministry and by June 2, 2023, almost everything they had was sold. On that day, they turned in the keys of their townhouse in Roanoke, VA to their landlord and set out on their first mission trip. 
 

      Throughout the coming year, the Lord led them to record testimonies and serve with Calvary Chapels and ministries throughout the East Coast. When they weren’t traveling on mission, the Hart family was hosted by family and encouraged in Jesus by their home church at the time, Calvary Chapel Lynchburg. Time in Virginia was a time of equipping and strengthening to go back out. CCL was and still is an incredible part of the equipping of this ministry. Through this time the Lord placed in their hearts a completely new concept of home, that the Christian’s “home” is truly in heaven and not here on earth. Focus on Christians’ eternal home and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ burned even stronger in the hearts with every mission trip. Hebrews 11:15-16 says:

“If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country-a heavenly one”. 

This was what God was doing in them. 

      In November 2023, the Lord told the Hart family to start another new chapter in their lives. He told them to move to Knoxville, TN to be a part of what God was doing in Calvary Knoxville, where they had visited previously on mission. They knew that God wanted them to establish residence again but with a new perspective, to continue living in a “tent”, meaning, eyes set on eternity and feet ready to move when God called. In May 2024, the Harts moved to Knoxville, TN. Calvary Knoxville quickly became another incredible place of equipping and strength for the ministry and Daniel and his family feel extremely blessed to be planted there.

 
      Over the winter and spring months of 2024, the Lord continued to grow the Hart family and Mountain and Valley Testimonies. The Lord gave Ariana a vision to organize and begin the Gospel Kitchen during this time. Also, the Lord pressed on their hearts to Mountain & Valley Testimonies by creating a board. The Harts knew they needed sound counsel and wisdom from trusted believers as the ministry continued to grow. Now, Mountain & Valley Testimonies is growing under the leadership of a sound board of Calvary Chapel pastors. The ministry continues to record testimonies of what Jesus is doing everywhere and shares them on Youtube, serves alongside other ministries, and shares the gospel directly through the Gospel Kitchen. 

      Mountain & Valley Testimonies, after receiving the call and power from the Holy Spirit to serve, serves in their “Judea”, Knoxville, by serving at church, recording testimonies, and organizing Gospel Kitchen. Second, their “Samaria”, the United States, by recording testimonies, serving alongside other ministries, and organizing Gospel Kitchen. Lastly, the ministry is praying to expand mission trips throughout the world, “to the end of the earth”, Acts 1:8. Until then, what Jesus is doing in the lives of individuals, marriages, families, and ministries in the United States is spreading all over the world through the Mountain & Valley Testimonies’ Youtube channel.
